Jamie is our senior Client Care Associate; she has been with Beau Monde Spalon for 3 years. She is a graduate of the FCCJ Cosmetology school, but found her career desires took her in another direction. Jamie’s sparkling personality and attitude makes working with her a genuine pleasure. She uses her industry knowledge to ensure that our clients’ needs and desires are achieved.

What is you favorite city to visit, and why?
California. The main reason-My sister lives there! Another, it’s a state of diversity, its eclectic and artsy. Great food and it’s accepting of people’s ideals and uniqueness.
What is your favorite food, and why?
I’m a die hard lover of SPAGHETTI. Because of a childhood story of a 1-2 year old little red headed girl & her families trip to Disney. Starving for food, the wait was well over an hour at our favorite restaurant. I was told that a child’s plate of spaghetti, a set of hands and a mouth was topic of conversation at every table that night.
Who or what inspires you?
My sister and my mom have always been my rock as well as my guidance.
What type of music do you like? And why?
I’m not to picky, mostly 80’s and Indie Rock. I do like a good hardcore band for those days of a well needed awakening.
If you could drive any car in the world, what would you drive?
A HOT-red, black leather interior, good OL’ classic Shelby!!
What is your favorite vacation activity?
I’ve got many favorites. But my most favorite is just to have one week where I don’t have to think or stress about anything at all. And, I can wear my flip flops all day!!
What is it about your service that makes you standout from other providers?
Calling myself ‘just’ a receptionist isn’t enough credit. I give a service of time, energy and dedication to the business, management, stylist and clients.
What was your inspiration to work in the beauty industry?
I love the artistic and fashionable part of this industry. You can be who you are. No questions asked. It’s about beauty, style, excitement and inspiration. The industry is one big TEAM working together to make magic happen.
What is your favorite thing to do in your industry, and what do you do to stay inspired by it?
I enjoy being a part of a TEAM of people who create such beauty and art whether being in the chair or behind the scene.
What is your favorite era of fashion and hair?
The roaring 20’s-Clapper Era!! This era was chíc and stylish. Women had such glam, and the ‘BOB’ was such an outstanding hair style. |
