   What you don’t know…

What is your favorite city to visit, and why?
St. Augustine, Florida.  I love St. George Street.  There are lots of neat shops and I have a lot of good memories with my brothers there.  We moved there when I was 8 and we would go there on the weekend and watch the tourists.

What is your favorite food, and why?
Pizza and a fountain Coke in New York City, because it is sooo good.

Who or what inspires you?
Definitely my son and daughter, because they are my angels from God.

What type of music do you like? And why?
I grew up in a musically inclined family, so there was always music playing.  I like 70’s and 80’s Rock and Dance music.

If you could drive any car in the world, what would you drive?
Smokey and the Bandit Firebird.

What is it about your service that makes you standout from other providers?
I treat my guests as if they were sitting in my living room.  I listen to what they have to say and do my best to give them what they ask for.  I want them to feel appreciated and special; that they are not just another haircut or color.

What was your inspiration to work in the beauty industry?
I had a childhood crush on my Step dad’s best friend when I was 8.  He would let me do braids and twists and stuff to his hair.  Since then, I wanted to be a hairdresser.  When my little sister came along, she was my live baby doll.  I would dress her up and do her hair for school every day.

What is your favorite thing to do in your industry, and what do you do to stay inspired by it?
Color, highlights and haircuts.  I attend classes quite often.  Watch makeover shows and look through fashion magazines.

What is your favorite era of fashion and hair?
Victorian.
