Do I need a reservation?
No. We welcome walk-ins, but cannot always accommodate the service requested. We recommend booking reservations for your convenience.

I will be a new client to your salon, how do I go about choosing the right stylist for me?
You can book a hair consultation or guest relations will book you with a stylist that they feel fits your needs by asking you a few questions. Beau Monde Spalon understands that we are suggesting a stylist over the phone and we at Beau Monde Spalon encourage you to try another stylist that you feel may better suit your needs.

Do I need to have my gift card present?
Yes.  In the event that you do not have your Gift Card, we can research it on our computer.  However, to avoid any misrepresentation, we recommend that it is present at the time of your service

Is gratuity added in the price of your services or packages?
No. This is left up to the client’s discretion. Our guest relations will ask if you would like to include gratuity at check out.  However, when purchasing a Gift Card, the gratuity may be added to the price of the Gift Card.

May I request a specific therapist or gender?
Yes, however, we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular therapist or technician. All of our therapists and technicians are trained to ensure your comfort at all times.

May I bring my cell phone, pager or PC?
Yes. Cell phones and pagers must be silenced while in the entire Spalon facility. Laptop computers may be used during chemical processing in the salon and for your convenience we offer wireless internet service at no charge.

Spa services:

Do I need to remove my make-up before my facial?
Not necessarily.  Make-up removal is part of the service.  Upon completion of your facial, we do offer make-up services.  Ask about scheduling a make-up application after your spa service.

What should I wear for a spa service?
Wear whatever is comfortable. We will provide you with a robe and sandals for treatments. During some treatments you may be asked to wear special hygienic undergarments for your comfort and safety.

 Should I shave before my service/treatment?
We ask that men do not shave at least 2 hours before their facials. Women should not shave their legs the day of receiving a body treatment.

How long does my hair growth need to be for a wax?
Facial hair needs to be at least 1/8 inch growth. Body hair needs to be at least ¼ inch growth.

If I receive a Day of Beauty package, am I required to have all the services done in one day?
Absolutely not! We understand busy schedules.

Salon services:

What is the difference between a junior stylist, stylist and senior stylist?
Most of our junior stylists were assistants as they went through cosmetology school. All our junior stylists go through an “Apprenticeship” program after graduating cosmetology school. During this time, they learn under senior stylists and attend classes as well. All stylists/estheticians/massage therapists at Beau Monde are always continuing their education. Our staff attends classes locally, nationally and sometimes internationally.

Can I color my hair and get a perm in the same day?
Color should be booked first and then allow 1-2 weeks for the restructuring service.

What is the difference between a partial highlight and a full highlight?
A partial highlight addresses the exposed areas when the hair is down or pulled back.  A full highlight addresses the entire head.

Do I need to wash my hair prior to coming in for an updo?
We recommend the hair to be washed the day before, but not the day of your reservation in order for the hair to hold longer, be easier to work with and be totally dry.

What is the price difference between highlights and lowlights?
This service is charged as a partial highlight or a full highlight depending on the client’s needs. There is not a separate charge if the stylist uses more than one color during the application process.

I am planning my wedding and want to know how Beau Monde can accommodate me?
We offer a multitude of services to accommodate your needs. We offer Bridal Party consultations to assist in designing your Spalon Bridal Party. We recommend reserving space for your Bridal Party at least 6-8 weeks in advance.
